Nexentis: MitoCareX Bio Advances AI-Driven Drug Discovery Initiative with Boltz, Completing Initial Computational Screening Stage
The preliminary predictions remain experimentally unvalidated, with further assessment needed to determine whether any program can advance.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Nexentis Technologies (NXTS) announced that subsidiary MitoCareX Bio completed the initial computational screening stage of its drug-discovery initiative with Boltz. The initiative, launched in June 2026, uses Boltz’s AI models alongside MitoCareX’s discovery capabilities to identify potential small-molecule starting points for selected programs.
MitoCareX considers the preliminary predictions encouraging enough for further computational analysis and experimental validation. The findings have not been experimentally validated; further scientific assessment will determine whether they support advancing any program. MitoCareX retains control over its discovery programs and any candidates it advances through the initiative.

MitoCareX considers preliminary, not yet experimentally validated, computational findings encouraging for further computational analysis and experimental investigation
Ness Ziona, Israel, Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nexentis Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: NXTS) (“Nexentis” or the “Company”) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, MitoCareX Bio Ltd. (“MitoCareX”), has completed an initial computational screening stage under its drug-discovery initiative with Boltz, PBC (“Boltz”), an AI research lab focused on biomolecular foundation models and drug-discovery workflows. MitoCareX believes the preliminary computational predictions generated in this stage are encouraging and warrant further computational analysis and experimental validation.
Completion of this stage moves the initiative, announced in June 2026, from launch to an initial assessment of screening predictions. The predictions have not been experimentally validated and serve only as a starting point for evaluating potential follow-up research within MitoCareX’s small-molecule discovery programs.
“We believe that completing this first screening stage is an important step in translating our initiative with Boltz into research insights,” said David Palach, Chief Executive Officer of Nexentis. “We are focused on advancing proprietary discovery programs through disciplined, evidence-based decisions. These initial predictions give us a basis for planning next steps, and further validation will be essential to determining their significance.”
The initiative combines MitoCareX’s proprietary drug-discovery capabilities with Boltz’s AI models to identify potential small-molecule starting points for selected discovery programs. MitoCareX retains control over its discovery programs and any small-molecule candidates it advances through the initiative.
Further scientific assessment and validation will determine whether the preliminary predictions support advancing any program. No assurance can be given that any compound identified through the initiative will be advanced into preclinical or clinical development.
