OpenWorld Confirms Dual Listing on Figure OPEN on Track for Q4 2026 Following Stockholder Approval of Blockchain Common Stock
The planned blockchain share format adds a trading choice without issuing new shares or raising capital.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
OpenWorld (OPNW) expects its planned dual listing on Figure OPEN to go live in the fourth quarter of 2026. Stockholders approved amended articles on October 16 authorizing 500,000,000 Blockchain Common Stock shares. The planned listing will offer a blockchain version of existing shares alongside Nasdaq trading, with no new shares, dilution or capital raised. The blockchain shares are designed for real-time settlement and around-the-clock trading.
The authorization does not increase outstanding shares. The amended articles become effective upon filing in Nevada after the applicable notice period following mailing of the definitive information statement, expected to begin October 26, 2026. OpenWorld remains subject to the same SEC reporting requirements, governance standards and investor protections. Instructions for accessing blockchain shares will follow.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

OpenWorld (“OPNW”) stockholders will be able to hold and trade a blockchain version of their existing shares on Figure OPEN alongside the Company’s Nasdaq listing with no shareholder dilution
LAKE MARY, Fla., Oct. 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OpenWorld, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNW) (“OpenWorld” or the “Company”), a blockchain innovation company advancing real-world asset tokenization, today confirmed that its planned dual listing on Figure’s On-chain Public Equity Network (“Figure OPEN”) remains on track to go live in the fourth quarter of 2026.
OpenWorld expects to be among the first Nasdaq-listed companies to bring its public equity on-chain, giving institutional and retail investors a new way to hold and trade shares of a U.S. exchange-listed company without leaving the regulatory boundaries of the existing securities framework.
The update follows stockholder approval on October 16, 2026 of the Company’s Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation (“Restated Articles”), which authorizes a new class of Blockchain Common Stock. As disclosed in the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed on October 16, 2026. This is the corporate mechanism required to bring OpenWorld’s equity onto Figure OPEN.
No New Shares – One Company, Two Ways to Trade
The Figure OPEN listing does not involve the issuance of any new shares and will not raise capital. OpenWorld’s Blockchain Common Stock will serve as a blockchain-native version of the Company’s existing Nasdaq-listed shares, giving stockholders the choice of holding and trading OPNW shares on Nasdaq or on Figure OPEN. Blockchain Common Stock is designed to settle in real time, rather than on the conventional T+1 cycle, and to trade around the clock. The Company’s total number of outstanding shares will not increase.
“Bringing OPNW on-chain has been part of our vision since day one, and we remain on track to execute this vision with Figure OPEN later this quarter,” said Matthew Shaw, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of OpenWorld. “Bringing our shares on-chain through Figure OPEN provides our existing stockholders with greater choice, without any dilution, as markets increasingly move 24/7 through blockchain rails. When we go live on Figure OPEN, our shareholders can trade on Nasdaq as they always have or hold the same ownership as a blockchain-native share with faster settlement and extended trading access. We believe this is where public markets are heading, and we intend to be at the front of it.”
Delivering on the Dual-Listing Plan
As announced on October 1, 2026, OpenWorld is pursuing a dual listing on Figure OPEN, building on its previously announced agreement with Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIGR) to offer a digitally native share class. With stockholder approval secured, OpenWorld expects the Figure OPEN listing to be live later this quarter.
The Figure OPEN listing is designed to complement, not replace, the Company’s Nasdaq listing. OpenWorld remains subject to the same SEC reporting requirements, corporate governance standards and investor protections.
Compliant Transfer Agent to Simplify the Dual Structure
To make moving between the two formats simple for stockholders, OpenWorld has appointed Vinyl Equity, Inc., an SEC-registered transfer agent equipped to maintain records for both traditional and blockchain-based shares. The transfer agent will support stockholders who wish to hold their shares in either form. OpenWorld will provide information on how stockholders can access the blockchain-based shares.
Charter Amendments Approved
On September 30, 2026, OpenWorld’s Board of Directors approved the Restated Articles and submitted them to stockholders. On October 16, 2026, stockholders holding approximately
