Key Terms

m&a integrations financial
The process of combining two companies' operations, systems, people and cultures after a merger or acquisition so they function as a single business. Investors care because the speed and quality of that combination determine whether the deal delivers promised cost savings, revenue growth and risk reduction; it’s like merging two kitchens so meals keep coming without wasting ingredients or burning the food.
r&d engineers technical
R&D engineers are technical staff who design, test and improve new products, technologies or manufacturing processes within a company. They turn ideas into working prototypes and refine production methods much like mechanics tuning a machine before it goes into regular use. Their work matters to investors because successful R&D can create future revenue streams, lower production costs, reduce technical risk and build a company’s competitive edge over time.
digital lidar technical
Digital lidar is a way of measuring distances and building 3D maps by sending pulses of laser light and recording the returns with electronic detectors and processors, producing a digital ‘point cloud’ that represents an object or environment like a 3D photo. For investors it matters because digital designs (using solid-state sensors and software) can lower cost, improve reliability and scale more easily than mechanical systems, affecting companies’ ability to win markets in areas such as autonomous vehicles, drones and mapping.
sensor fusion technical
Sensor fusion is the process of combining data from multiple sensors—like cameras, radar, microphones, or motion detectors—to create a single, clearer picture of what’s happening in the real world. For investors, better fusion means products and systems that are safer, more reliable, or smarter (think a car using several eyes and ears to avoid collisions), which can reduce costs, speed product adoption, and improve a company’s competitive edge.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ouster, Inc. My focus will be on building a high-performance organization that attracts the best talent in the world and drives the organizational excellence required to support our mission."

Fullove’s career is defined by her ability to bridge the gap between complex engineering organizations and operational strategy. During her tenure at BrightDrop (GM), she scaled the organization significantly in two years while serving on the GM HR Executive Team. Her experience leading international operations at global organizations across Europe and Asia is instrumental as Ouster scales its global presence.
