EDMONTON, Alberta & WESTCHESTER, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RB Global, Inc. Auctioneers sold more than 10,300 equipment items, trucks and vehicles at its premier Canadian auction event in Edmonton, AB, last week. The five-day auction generated more than CA$175 million in gross transaction value (GTV).

The May 11-15, 2026, online and onsite auction attracted 18,600+ registered bidders from around the world, with strong participation from Canadian buyers across key sectors, including construction, transportation and energy.

The auction featured strong representation from key consignors across Western Canada, providing a broad mix of equipment across major categories.

The week’s customer programming concluded with the annual VIP event, highlighted by the induction of Merv Pidherney into the Ritchie Bros. Hall of Fame. Merv and his family have been a valued Ritchie Bros. customer for decades.
