Logistics Management's (LM) Annual Quest for Quality Awards are determined through a six-month, invitation-only survey conducted by the Peerless Research Group, and based on feedback from more than 3,000 qualified shippers. Unlike popularity polls, the survey evaluates carriers on the factors most critical to customers, including on-time performance, value, technology, customer service, and operations. LM's Quest for Quality Awards are regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence.
To determine the "best of the best," LM readers—logistics, transportation, and supply chain decision makers—rate carriers strictly on the basis of service quality.
One of the most notable elements about the Quest for Quality Awards is that shippers vote only in the categories of services they actually use; therefore, they select the carriers they believe have best delivered quality service in those specific niches.
