Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

STAK (Nasdaq: STAK) announced that its second-tier subsidiary signed a non-binding letter of intent for potential gas-powered generator procurement. The initial proposed procurement has an indicative value in the hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars; contemplated later phases total millions of U.S. dollars, excluding the initial amount. These preliminary amounts exclude transportation, insurance, on-site installation and ancillary costs.

The letter creates no purchase or supply obligation and represents neither confirmed orders nor a revenue forecast. Actual procurement requires definitive contracts, final commercial terms and applicable technical and certification requirements. Later batches depend on successful delivery and final acceptance of the initial equipment, with separate contracts required. Initial acceptance would not obligate the buyer to make further purchases.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

News Explained

The potential generator procurement is at a second-tier subsidiary wholly owned by a joint venture; a wholly owned STAK subsidiary holds 60% of that venture, so STAK's disclosed ownership in the subsidiary is indirect.

Key Terms

3 terms
letter of intent financial
"entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the "LOI") regarding the potential procurement"
A letter of intent is a document that shows an agreement in principle between parties to work towards a future deal or transaction. It outlines their intentions and key terms, acting like a roadmap before a formal contract is signed. For investors, it signals serious interest and helps clarify expectations early in the process.
ex-works (EXW) technical
"calculated on an ex-works (EXW) basis"
Ex-works (EXW) is an Incoterm published by the International Chamber of Commerce that assigns the seller the minimum delivery obligation: the seller must make the goods available at its premises (factory, warehouse, or other named place). From that point the buyer bears all risks, costs and responsibilities for loading, transport, export clearance, import clearance, duties, and insurance unless the parties agree otherwise. The risk transfers to the buyer when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer at the named place, not when they arrive at the buyer’s destination.
revenue recognition financial
"does not constitute a completed sale or provide a basis for revenue recognition"
Revenue recognition is the accounting rule that determines when a company records a sale as income on its financial statements, which may differ from when cash actually arrives. It matters to investors because the timing and method used can change reported profits and growth, so understanding it is like knowing whether a scoreboard counts goals as soon as they’re scored or only after they’re confirmed — the timing affects comparisons, forecasts, and valuation.

CHANGZHOU, China, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- STAK Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: STAK), a fast-growing company specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and sale of oilfield-specialized production and maintenance equipment, today announced that its second-tier subsidiary, STAK Industry Energy Ltd., has entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the "LOI") regarding the potential procurement of gas-powered generators. The LOI represents an initial development in the Company's recent expansion into the gas-powered generator business.

The indicative value of the initial proposed procurement under the LOI is in the hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars, with additional potential procurements contemplated in subsequent phases totaling millions of U.S. dollars, excluding the initial procurement amount. These indicative amounts are calculated on an ex-works (EXW) basis and exclude transportation, insurance, on-site installation, and other ancillary costs, which would be quoted separately. The proposed amounts are preliminary and non-binding and do not constitute confirmed orders, minimum purchase commitments, or revenue forecasts.

The proposed subsequent procurements are contingent upon the successful delivery and final acceptance of the initial batch of equipment. Each subsequent batch would require a separate formal purchase contract between the relevant parties. Acceptance of the initial batch would not automatically obligate the potential buyer to proceed with any subsequent purchases. Final transaction values, pricing, and execution arrangements would be subject to further negotiations and the execution of applicable purchase contracts.

For clarity, the proposed procurements contemplated under the LOI are non-binding and do not constitute formal purchase orders or create any obligation on the part of the potential buyer to purchase, or the Company to supply any equipment. Any actual procurement would be subject to the execution of a definitive purchase contract. While certain ancillary provisions of the LOI are binding as of its effective date, such provisions do not constitute a purchase commitment.

The Company cannot assure that the relevant parties will enter into formal purchase contracts, that any proposed transactions will be completed, or that any revenue will ultimately be generated. Accordingly, receipt of the LOI does not constitute a completed sale or provide a basis for revenue recognition. Any potential transaction remains subject to agreement on final commercial terms and satisfaction of applicable technical, certification, and other requirements.

To protect commercially sensitive information, the Company is not disclosing the identity of the potential buyer or specific commercial and technical terms beyond the indicative procurement amounts described above. The Company will provide further updates and disclosures as appropriate and in accordance with applicable laws and stock exchange regulations.
