DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Thryv® (Nasdaq: THRY), provider of an AI-powered growth platform for local service businesses, today announced the promotion of Patricia Rollins to Vice President of Marketing. In her expanded role, Rollins will lead the company’s global marketing efforts as Thryv expands the reach of its newly launched Thryv Growth Platform™ among entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Career marketer and growth strategist Patricia Rollins will leverage her expertise to accelerate customer buy-in of the Thryv Growth Platform™ by local service businesses.

Career marketer and growth strategist Patricia Rollins will leverage her expertise to accelerate customer buy-in of the Thryv Growth Platform™ by local service businesses.

Rollins’ promotion comes at a pivotal time for Thryv as business owners increasingly look to AI marketing solutions to drive growth. She will oversee creative, demand generation, customer acquisition, and go-to-market strategy for Thryv’s platform and services.

Inspired by her roots as the daughter of small business owners, Rollins’ career has focused on equipping entrepreneurs with the technology and marketing tools they need to grow. Since joining Thryv, she has played a key role in strengthening awareness of its AI-powered growth solutions.

A career marketer and growth strategist, she led the worldwide performance marketing team that launched IBM Watson and spearheaded digital marketing campaigns and events at Oracle CX Cloud. Rollins also accelerated the adoption of emerging technologies at SmartSheet, Typeform and Wellsaid, an AI text-to-speech provider. Known for blending creativity with data-driven strategy, she has a strong track record of helping accelerate adoption of innovative software and AI technologies.

“Patricia’s promotion reflects her dynamic leadership and ability to bring new technologies to market,” said Grant Freeman, president of Thryv. “As business owners look to AI tools to compete and win, her expertise will help us accelerate customer buy-in of our Growth Platform by the service businesses it was designed for.”

Rollins said helping small businesses succeed is a full-circle moment.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy at large and the communities we live in. But the average lifespan of a U.S. small business is about five to six years. Thryv is looking to change that with AI tools that make it easier for business owners who spend far more time out in the field with customers than they do running their marketing.”

Rollins holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Pace University and a master's in public relations from Iona University.

text-to-speech technical
Text-to-speech is software that converts written words into natural-sounding spoken audio, like a narrator reading a page aloud. For investors it matters because it can broaden a product’s audience (for example, people who prefer audio or need accessibility), reduce customer support and content production costs, and create new revenue or engagement channels—factors that can affect user growth, margins, and regulatory compliance.
