HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) today announced that Travelers Synergy^® – its product liability insurance offering for life sciences companies – is now available in California, completing its rollout across all 50 states.

What Travelers Synergy Covers
Travelers Synergy is designed to protect life sciences companies against product-related claims at any point in the product development life cycle – from research and development through manufacturing and distribution. Core coverage addresses bodily injury and property damage, and can be supplemented with optional add-ons, including:

• Errors and omissions liability.
• Product recall expenses.
• Clinical trial medical expenses.

What’s New for Travelers Synergy Policyholders
Travelers has introduced broader Sales Professional Liability coverage for life sciences companies whose sales representatives work in operating rooms, procedure rooms or other clinical settings. Available under either a shared policy limit or separate dedicated limit, the optional endorsement covers bodily injury or property damage arising from a sales representative’s actions.
