proxy statement regulatory
"as set out in the Company's proxy statement dated April 29, 2026"
A proxy statement is a document companies send to shareholders ahead of a meeting that lays out the items up for a vote—like who will sit on the board, executive pay, and major corporate decisions—and provides background so shareholders can decide how to cast their votes or appoint someone to vote for them. Think of it as an agenda plus a ballot and briefing notes, important because the outcomes can change control, strategy, and value.

auditor financial
"KPMG LLP was also re-appointed auditor of the Company"
An auditor is an independent professional who examines a company’s financial records, accounting systems, and internal controls to confirm that reported numbers are accurate and follow the rules. For investors, an auditor’s review is like a third‑party inspector for a house: it reduces the risk of hidden problems, makes financial statements more trustworthy, and helps investors judge whether a company’s reported results reflect reality.
Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory
"Final voting results ... will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission"
A national government agency that enforces rules for buying, selling and disclosing information about stocks and other investments, acting like a referee and scorekeeper for financial markets. It requires companies to share clear, regular financial and business information and investigates fraud or rule-breaking, which matters to investors because those rules and disclosures help ensure fair prices, reduce hidden risks and make it easier to compare investment choices.
SEDAR regulatory
"and will also be filed in Canada on SEDAR (www.sedarplus.ca) later today"
SEDAR is the electronic filing system used by Canadian public companies and investment funds to submit financial reports, regulatory filings, and corporate disclosures. It matters to investors because it provides a single, official source of paperwork—like a public filing cabinet—where you can read audited results, risk disclosures and material announcements that help assess a company’s health and make informed investment decisions.
