Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Atlantic American Corporation reported that it will not file its Form 10‑Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 within the prescribed deadline. The delay stems from additional work needed to compile financial data and supporting documentation required by Accounting Standards Update No. 2018‑12 for long‑duration insurance contracts. This same work is also delaying completion of the Form 10‑K for the year ended December 31, 2025 and the Form 10‑Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, which together with the June 30 report are described as the “Delinquent Reports.” The company states it is currently not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires timely filing of periodic reports, but notes that Nasdaq has granted an extension until October 12, 2026 to regain compliance. Management indicates it is working diligently to complete and file the Delinquent Reports as promptly as practicable within this extension period.
