Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Aris Mining Corporation (ARIS) will publish its third-quarter 2026 financial results after market close on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, and host a conference call that day at 3:00 p.m. Vancouver time (5:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 p.m. GMT). Registration remains open through the live call, and an audio replay will be archived.

Segovia and Marmato produced approximately 257,000 ounces of gold in 2025. Aris Mining expects the mines’ expansion projects to bring annual production to 500,000 ounces following completion and ramp-up; first gold from the Marmato bulk mine is expected in Q4 2026. The company’s longer-term objective is approximately 1 million ounces annually, including potential production estimates from Toroparu based on a preliminary economic assessment. The company states that there is no certainty the assessment will be realized, and a Toroparu construction decision is expected in early 2027.

Filing Explained

The filing says production from Soto Norte and Toroparu remains subject to all necessary permits and formal company construction decisions; those projects therefore remain conditional contributors to Aris Mining’s longer-term production objective, not disclosed committed output.

2025 gold production approximately 257,000 ounces Segovia and Marmato combined
Expected annual gold production 500,000 ounces Following completion and ramp-up of the Segovia and Marmato expansion projects
Segovia expected steady-state annual gold production approximately 300,000 ounces Following completion and ramp-up of the expansion project
Marmato expected steady-state annual gold production 200,000 ounces Following completion and ramp-up of the expansion project
Longer-term annual gold production objective approximately 1 million ounces Portfolio objective that includes potential production estimates from Toroparu
Toroparu average annual gold production approximately 235,000 ounces Preliminary economic assessment based on a US$3,000 per ounce base-case gold price
Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) technical
"preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)"
CIP plant technical
"construction of the new Marmato bulk mine and CIP plant"
An CIP plant is an automated cleaning system that washes the inside of pipes, tanks and processing equipment without taking them apart — like an industrial dishwasher for a factory. For investors, a well-designed CIP setup matters because it helps ensure product safety and regulatory compliance, reduces production downtime and labor costs, and lowers the risk of contamination-related recalls that can hurt revenue and reputation.
Prefeasibility Study technical
"a Prefeasibility Study is in progress"
A prefeasibility study is an early, high-level assessment that tests whether a proposed project is likely to be technically workable and economically viable before committing large resources. Like a rough blueprint and budget for a construction project, it provides preliminary estimates of costs, potential returns, key risks and data gaps so investors can decide whether to proceed to more detailed studies or funding.
preliminary economic assessment technical
"based on a preliminary economic assessment effective October 21, 2025"
A preliminary economic assessment is an initial analysis that estimates the potential profitability and feasibility of a project or resource, such as a new mineral deposit or development venture. It provides a rough idea of costs, benefits, and risks, helping investors decide whether to pursue more detailed studies. This early evaluation is important because it offers a snapshot of whether the project is worth further investment and development.
inferred mineral resources technical
"includes inferred mineral resources"
An inferred mineral resource is an estimate of the quantity and grade of minerals in the ground based on limited sampling and geological information, where confidence is low and continuity is uncertain. For investors it signals potential value but also higher risk—like a rough sketch of a hidden treasure that requires much more exploration and testing before you can reliably judge its size or economic worth.

About Aris Mining

Aris Mining is a Canadian gold mining company focused on South America. The Company operates the Segovia and Marmato underground gold mines in Colombia, which together produced approximately 257,000 ounces of gold in 2025. Aris Mining is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ARIS.

The Company is advancing expansion projects at Segovia and Marmato that are expected to increase annual gold production to 500,000 ounces, driven by the ramp-up at Segovia following the installation of the second mill and construction of the new Marmato bulk mine and CIP plant, with first gold expected in Q4 2026.

Aris Mining’s portfolio supports a longer-term objective of approximately 1 million ounces of annual gold production. Key projects include the high-grade Soto Norte gold project in Colombia, where preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) has been completed for community engagement, and the Toroparu gold project in Guyana, where a Prefeasibility Study is in progress and a construction decision is expected in early 2027.

1 Reflects expected steady-state annual gold production of approximately 300 thousand ounces (koz) at Segovia and 200 koz at Marmato following completion and ramp-up of the respective expansion projects. For more information, please refer to the Company’s news releases dated June 30, 2025 regarding the Segovia expansion and March 12, 2025 regarding the Marmato expansion.

2 Includes potential production estimates from Toroparu, which is based on a preliminary economic assessment effective October 21, 2025, which contemplates a 7.0 Mtpa operation over a 21.3-year mine life with average annual gold production of approximately 235 koz at a base case gold price of US$3,000/oz. The preliminary economic assessment is preliminary in nature and includes inferred mineral resources that are considered too speculative geologically to have the economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as mineral reserves, and there is no certainty that the preliminary economic assessment will be realized. Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. There can be no assurance that the projected production will be achieved. Such production also remains subject to obtaining all necessary permits and to formal construction decisions by the Company, in each case for both Soto Norte and Toroparu.
