Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Teucrium Commodity Trust reported that outstanding shares of its 7RCC Spot Bitcoin and Carbon Credit Futures ETF (BTCK) increased above the 50,000-share minimum after new creation orders. The sponsor, Teucrium Trading, LLC, is no longer rejecting redemption orders on that basis. It may again reject orders if outstanding shares return to 50,000 or for other reasons listed in the Fund’s prospectus. Acceptance of redemption orders does not guarantee narrower bid-ask spreads or improved secondary-market liquidity.

creation orders financial
"increased above the 50,000-share minimum after new creation orders"
Creation orders are instructions by large market participants to an exchange-traded fund (ETF) issuer to add new ETF shares to the market by delivering the underlying basket of securities or cash. They matter to investors because this process helps keep an ETF’s price aligned with the value of its holdings and supplies or removes shares to meet demand, which supports liquidity, tighter bid‑ask spreads and more predictable trading costs—like a factory making more toy sets when stores need them.
redemption orders financial
"no longer rejecting redemption orders on that basis"
bid-ask spreads market
"does not guarantee narrower bid-ask spreads"
The bid-ask spread is the gap between the highest price someone is willing to pay for a security (the bid) and the lowest price someone will accept to sell it (the ask). Like the difference between what buyers at a garage sale will offer and what sellers want, a wider spread raises the effective cost and difficulty of trading and signals lower demand or higher uncertainty, while a narrow spread means cheaper, easier trades for investors.
secondary-market liquidity market
"or improved secondary-market liquidity"

FAQ

AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.

Why did BTCK resume accepting redemption orders?

The sponsor stopped rejecting redemption orders on the minimum-share basis because outstanding shares increased above 50,000 shares following new creation orders. The minimum threshold represents five baskets of 10,000 shares each.

Can BTCK redemption orders be rejected again?

Yes. The sponsor may again reject redemption orders if outstanding shares return to 50,000 shares, or for other reasons described under “Creation and Redemption of Shares — Suspension or Rejection of Redemption Orders” in the Fund’s prospectus.

Does BTCK's acceptance of redemption orders guarantee better liquidity?

No. The sponsor states that resumed acceptance does not guarantee narrower bid-ask spreads or improved secondary-market liquidity.

Item 8.01. Other Events.

Teucrium Trading, LLC, as sponsor (the “Sponsor”) of Teucrium Commodity Trust (the “Trust”), hereby reports that the number of outstanding shares of the 7RCC Spot Bitcoin and Carbon Credit Futures ETF (the “Fund”), a series of the Trust, has increased above the minimum level of 50,000 Shares as a result of new creation orders.

As previously reported on August 31, 2026, the Sponsor had been rejecting redemption orders that would cause the Fund’s outstanding Shares to fall below the minimum threshold of 50,000 Shares (i.e., five baskets of 10,000 Shares each). Because the number of outstanding Shares has now increased above this minimum level, the Sponsor is no longer rejecting redemption orders on that basis.

The Sponsor may again reject redemption orders in the future if the number of outstanding Shares returns to the minimum level of 50,000 Shares, or for any other reason enumerated in the Fund’s Prospectus under “Creation and Redemption of Shares — Suspension or Rejection of Redemption Orders.”

Investors should be aware that the resumption of the acceptance of redemption orders is no guarantee that bid-ask spreads will narrow or that secondary market liquidity will improve.
