How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

recoverability test technical
"performed a recoverability test of the Company’s Fiberon asset group"
long-lived asset impairment financial
"recorded a long-lived asset impairment of $221.2 million"
When a company determines that an asset it expected to use for many years—like buildings, equipment, or patents—won’t generate as much future benefit as its recorded value on the balance sheet, it writes that value down; this write-down is called a long-lived asset impairment. Investors care because impairments lower reported profits and net worth, signal weaker future cash flows, and can change debt terms or investor confidence—think of it like finding out a car you planned to keep for years now needs costly repairs that cut its resale value.
carrying value financial
"amount of carrying value that exceeded the estimated fair value"
Carrying value is the amount an asset is listed for on a company’s balance sheet after subtracting reductions for wear, age or loss of value from its original purchase cost. Think of it like the price shown in your records for a car after accounting for years of use; it may differ from what you could sell it for today. Investors watch carrying value because it affects reported profits when assets are sold or written down and influences balance-sheet strength and valuation ratios.
estimated fair value financial
"carrying value that exceeded the estimated fair value"
An estimated fair value is a calculated price that represents what a financial asset, liability, or business would likely sell for between willing, informed parties when no exact market price exists. It uses available data and assumptions — like recent sales, cash‑flow projections, or comparable assets — to produce a best‑guess dollar amount; investors use it as a benchmark to judge whether a security or holding appears under- or overvalued.
non-cash impairment charge financial
"additional non-cash impairment charge estimated in the range"
A non-cash impairment charge is an accounting write-down that lowers the recorded value of an asset on a company’s books when that asset is judged to be worth less than before. It reduces reported profit for the period without using any cash — like lowering the listed price of a used car in your records — and matters to investors because it can shrink earnings, change valuation metrics, and signal potential problems that might affect future cash flow or credit terms.
