How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.

Note: Store Count, Units and NRSF figures reflect active storage locations for the last month of the reporting quarter. Occupancy % reflects average occupancy during the reporting quarter. Revenue per foot is average revenue per occupied foot over the trailing twelve months ending September 2026. Same store includes storage locations with rental storage inventory for more than three years and a capacity change of less than twenty units for any year-over-year period of the reporting month. The locations have occupancy each month during the last three years and have achieved 80% or greater occupancy for the last two years. Prior year Same Store figures are for locations meeting the Same Store criteria as of the prior year reporting month.

EARNINGS PER SHARE

We calculate earnings per share using the two-class method in accordance with Accounting Standards Codification Topic 260, Earnings Per Share. The two-class method allocates the undistributed earnings available to common stockholders to the Company’s outstanding common stock, $0.25 par value (the “Voting Common Stock”) and the Series N Non-Voting Common Stock, $0.001 par value (the “Non-Voting Common Stock”) based on each share’s percentage of total weighted average shares outstanding. The Voting Common Stock and Non-Voting Common Stock are allocated approximately 10% and 90%, respectively, of our undistributed earnings available to common stockholders. This represents earnings available to common stockholders less than the dividends declared for both the Voting Common Stock and Non-Voting Common Stock.

Our undistributed earnings per share were calculated by taking the undistributed earnings available to common stockholders and dividing this number by the weighted average shares outstanding for the respective stock. If there was a dividend declared for that period, the dividend per share was added to the undistributed earnings per share to calculate the basic and diluted earnings per share. The process was used for both Voting Common Stock and Non-Voting Common Stock.

The calculation of basic and diluted earnings per share for the quarters ended September 30, 2026 and 2025 for our Voting Common Stock and Non-Voting Common Stock were as follows:
