Key Terms

recurring revenue financial
Revenue that a company expects to receive on a regular, predictable basis from ongoing sources such as subscriptions, service contracts, or repeat customer purchases. It matters to investors because it provides steadier cash flow and makes future earnings easier to forecast—like a landlord collecting monthly rent instead of one-off sales—supporting higher valuations and lower risk when those payments are reliable and customers tend to stay.
churn financial
Churn is the rate at which customers or subscribers stop using a company’s product or service over a given period; it can be measured by number of customers lost or by lost revenue. Investors care because high churn is like a leaky bucket — the company must add more new customers or spend more on marketing to keep sales and profits from falling, which can slow growth and reduce long-term value.

New subscription product extends Agibank’s reach beyond financial services, strengthens primary banking relationships, and drives retention, cross-selling, and value creation across a base of over 7 million active clients

SÃO PAULO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Agibank today announced the launch of Agi+, a strategic milestone in its journey to become a “subscription bank.” The new platform extends the customer relationship beyond traditional credit and financial transactions, offering recurring services tailored to daily needs. For the bank, this product introduces a new growth pillar supported by enhanced customer engagement, higher retention and expanded cross-selling opportunities, and with the potential to generate recurring revenue. Agibank is a subsidiary of Agi Inc. (NYSE: AGBK) (“Agi”).

With over 7 million active clients, Agibank aims to leverage its scale and deep customer insights to offer services that complement its core financial portfolio. Currently, active clients hold an average of five products with the bank. Among clients who consider Agibank their primary bank and have been with the institution for over a year, this figure exceeds seven products, highlighting significant potential for deeper engagement and long-term value generation.

Agi+ bundles health and dental benefits, home and pet assistance, mobile phone services, elderly care, and shopping discounts into a single monthly fee. With plans ranging from R$ 39.90 to R$ 59.90, the subscription is designed to offer convenience, predictability, and cost savings to middle- and low-income demographics, while increasing Agibank’s presence in the daily lives of its customers.

With the R$ 39.90 plan, customers can save up to R$ 1,500 per year—an amount equivalent to approximately three times the total annual cost of the subscription, depending on benefit utilization. The product is not positioned as a debt-relief solution, but rather as a tool to help families mitigate the impact of everyday life and unexpected expenses on their household budgets.

“Agi+ represents our evolution toward a broader, recurring relationship model that is deeply connected to our customers’ real-world needs,” said Marcello Dubeux, CFO and Investor Relations Director at Agibank. “By combining financial services with lifestyle benefits and assistance on a single platform, we are strengthening our primary banking status, diversifying our monetization opportunities, and creating a sustainable value proposition for both customers and investors.”

The product contributes to the diversification of Agibank’s revenue streams, reducing reliance on credit and transactional products. The subscription model also provides potential for greater revenue predictability, churn reduction, and increased interaction frequency, reinforcing the bank’s growth thesis based on scale, proximity, and deep customer intelligence.

With Agi+, Agibank continues to build a hybrid ecosystem that combines digital efficiency, the personal touch of face-to-face service, and an expanding layer of subscription-based services. The strategy aims to make the bank a more integrated part of the daily lives of Brazilian families while simultaneously driving long-term value creation for the business.
