Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Solowin Holdings (Nasdaq: AXG) will implement a 1-for-200 reverse share split, with split-adjusted trading beginning October 29, 2026.

The split covers both Class A and Class B ordinary shares. Outstanding Class A shares will fall from 201,529,461 to approximately 1,007,648, and Class B shares from 31,371,599 to approximately 156,858, subject to adjustments for fractional shares. Fractional interests will be rounded up to whole shares. The board approved the split on October 2, 2026, and shareholders approved it on October 13, 2026. Class A shares will continue trading under AXG.

News Explained

At the planned October 29 split, Solowin expects Class A shares to trade at roughly 200 times their pre-split price, but says the price may not match or hold that level; the consolidation reduces share counts and adjusts per-share price proportionally, but does not itself change company value.

4 terms
reverse share split financial
"will effect a reverse share split of its outstanding Class A ordinary shares"
A reverse share split is when a company reduces the number of its shares outstanding by combining multiple shares into one, effectively increasing the price of each share. For investors, this can help improve the company's image or meet stock exchange listing requirements, but it does not change the total value of their investment. It’s similar to turning many small pieces of a puzzle into fewer larger pieces—nothing new is added or lost, just rearranged.
par value financial
"ordinary shares, par value $0.0001 per share"
Par value is the fixed amount printed on a bond or stock that represents its original value when issued. It’s like the face value of a coin or bill—what the issuer promises to pay back or the starting price of a stock—though it often doesn’t change with market prices. It matters because it helps determine certain financial details, like how much the company will pay back at maturity.
cusip number technical
"with the new CUSIP number, G82759112"
A CUSIP number is a nine-character code that uniquely identifies a specific U.S. or Canadian stock, bond, or other security, similar to a barcode or a social-security number for a financial instrument. It matters to investors because it removes confusion between similar securities, ensures trades and settlements are applied to the correct issue, and helps locate official documents and transaction records quickly.
book-entry form financial
"holding their shares in book-entry form or in brokerage accounts"
A book-entry form is an electronic record showing ownership of securities instead of a paper certificate; think of it like a bank account ledger that notes who owns shares. It matters to investors because it makes buying, selling and transferring securities faster, safer and cheaper by reducing paperwork, loss or forgery risk, and enabling easier settlement through brokers or a central depository.

The Class A Ordinary Shares will begin trading on a reverse share split-adjusted basis at the opening of The Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”) on October 29, 2026. Following the reverse share split, the Class A Ordinary Shares and Class B Ordinary Shares will have a new par value of $0.02 per share and the Class A Ordinary Shares will continue to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol “AXG” with the new CUSIP number, G82759112. The Company, however, cannot assure that the price of its Class A Ordinary Shares after the reverse split will reflect the 1-for-200 reverse split ratio, that the price per share following the effective time of the reverse split will be maintained for any period of time, or that the price will remain above the pre-split trading price.

No fractional shares will be issued in connection with the reverse share split and all such fractional interests will be rounded up to the nearest whole number of Class A Ordinary Shares and Class B Ordinary Shares.

The reverse share split will reduce the number of issued and outstanding Class A Ordinary Shares from 201,529,461 to approximately 1,007,648, and the number of issued and outstanding Class B Ordinary Shares from 31,371,599 to approximately 156,858, subject to any adjustments resulting from the treatment of the fractional shares.

On October 13, 2026, among other matters, the shareholders of the Company approved such reverse split in an extraordinary general meeting.

Transhare Corporation is acting as the exchange agent and paying agent for the reverse share split. Shareholders holding their shares in book-entry form or in brokerage accounts need not take any action in connection with the reverse share split.

Transhare Corporation will provide instructions to any shareholders with certificates regarding the process in connection with the exchange of pre-reverse share split share certificates for ownership in book-entry form or share certificates on a post-reverse share split basis.
