2 terms
telemetry technical
"critical telemetry, including battery state-of-charge"
Telemetry is the automatic collection and transmission of measurements from remote devices, systems, or patients to a central system for monitoring and analysis—like a car sending engine, speed and location data back to a dashboard. For investors it matters because telemetry provides real-time evidence of product performance, safety and user behavior, helping assess revenue potential, operational risk, regulatory compliance and whether a product is meeting market demand.
state-of-charge technical
"battery state-of-charge, range estimates, tire health"
State-of-charge (SoC) is the current remaining energy in a rechargeable battery expressed as a percentage of its total usable capacity, like a fuel gauge for a battery. It matters to investors because SoC affects how long devices, electric vehicles, or energy-storage systems can run, influences operating schedules, resale value, and maintenance needs, and is a key metric for assessing performance and reliability of battery-dependent businesses.

As Ultraviolette exhibits at EICMA 2026 in Milan, expanded partnership scales in-helmet voice control and advances agentic AI roadmap with OASYS

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SoundHound AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOUN), a global leader in voice and agentic AI, and Ultraviolette Automotive, an innovator in future-ready electric mobility platforms and battery technology, today announced a major commercial expansion, with SoundHound set to power Ultraviolette’s voice AI co-pilot.

The news comes as Ultraviolette exhibits at EICMA 2026, the world’s largest motorcycle trade fair in Milan, Italy.

VIOLETTE A.I. debuted at CES 2026 as a first-of-its-kind voice AI co-pilot, designed to move two-wheeler interaction beyond buttons and touchscreens. The technology enables seamless interaction with a motorcycle through an audio-enabled helmet headset. Now, just by speaking, riders can have the ability to dynamically control vehicle safety, ride modes, traction control, on-board diagnostics, and even consult the user manual with their hands on the handlebars and their eyes on the road.

At EICMA, Ultraviolette is also highlighting futuristic voice-enabled features such as pre-ride systems checks, ride statistics, and proactive service alerts. Ultraviolette’s agentic roadmap also includes integrating with SoundHound’s award-winning OASYS agentic AI platform.

"Ultraviolette is redefining electric two-wheelers, and expanding our partnership allows us to deploy our agentic voice AI at true production scale,” said Keyvan Mohajer, CEO & Co-Founder of SoundHound AI. “This expansion reinforces SoundHound’s position as the partner of choice for global automotive and mobility brands looking to deliver fast, highly accurate voice technology."

Moving Beyond Buttons and Screens

Engineered by SoundHound, riders say "Violette" to wake the technology, then speak to the motorcycle through audio-integrated helmet headsets. By enabling riders to manage complex functions without having to look down or let go, the platform aims to set a new benchmark for two-wheeler safety and human-machine interaction.

Key features and capabilities include:

  • Dynamic Ride & Safety Adjustments: Hands-free voice adjustment of active vehicle parameters on the fly, including adjusting traction control, and toggling ABS settings.
  • Intelligent Pre-Ride Checks & Diagnostics: Instant verbal reports on critical telemetry, including battery state-of-charge, range estimates, tire health and more.
  • Interactive Owner's Manual: Natural-language query integration allowing riders to ask operational questions mid-ride, (e.g., "How do I adjust rear suspension?" or "What is my current battery health?") and receive immediate spoken instructions.
  • Hands-Free Navigation & Controls: Seamless media playback and hands-free call management optimized for high-wind in-helmet audio environments.

“With VIOLETTE A.I., our goal is to rethink how riders interact with their motorcycles. Even everyday functions, such as changing ride modes or checking vehicle information, can require riders to shift their attention from the road to a screen or control,” said Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette Automotive. “We see voice as a natural way to make these interactions simpler and more intuitive. Our collaboration with SoundHound AI allows us to demonstrate that vision, exploring how a voice-enabled co-pilot could bring riders closer to their motorcycles while helping them stay focused on the ride.”

Ultraviolette at EICMA

Ultraviolette is exhibiting at EICMA 2026, the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition, at Fiera Milano Rho from November 3 to 8. Visit the company at Pad 18, Stand E74, where it is demonstrating VIOLETTE A.I. Riders ask for ride modes and owner's manual answers such as recommended tire pressure and service instructions, all by voice. The demo also covers pre-ride checks, ride statistics, and proactive and service alerts.
