Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

TOMI Environmental Solutions (NASDAQ: TOMZ) secured a recurring BIT Solution purchase agreement with an existing global eye health customer.

The customer purchased handheld SteraMist systems for its South Carolina facility in March 2025 and adopted the technology at a Florida facility in late 2025. Additional third-quarter 2026 orders, including SteraMist Environment Systems, brought combined revenue from the two sites to approximately $750,000. The consumable agreement establishes a contracted revenue stream. TOMI anticipates receiving some or all prospective orders for further expansion at both facilities before the end of 2026; those prospective orders total approximately $960,000 to $1.7 million and include additional Environment Systems and an integrated automated decontamination system.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Combined revenue from two facilities is approximately $750,000

FREDERICK, Md., Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.® (“TOMI”) (NASDAQ: TOMZ), a global leader in disinfection and decontamination solutions, today announced an expanded relationship with a leading global eye health company that develops and commercializes contact lenses, lens-care products, ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, and surgical technologies for eye-care professionals and patients worldwide.

The customer purchased multiple handheld SteraMist systems for its South Carolina facility in March 2025. A second facility, in Florida, adopted the technology in late 2025. Additional orders in the third quarter of 2026, including SteraMist Environment Systems, brought combined revenue from the two sites to approximately $750,000. The customer has also entered into a recurring BIT Solution purchase agreement, establishing a contracted consumable revenue stream.

The deployment follows a sequence often seen in regulated manufacturing. Customers commonly begin with handheld systems for targeted surface applications, extend use to additional facilities after performance is established, and then evaluate whole-room and integrated systems. This customer has completed the first of those steps and, in the third quarter of 2026, purchased Environment Systems.

Further expansion at both facilities includes additional SteraMist Environment Systems and a CES for complete integrated automated decontamination. TOMI anticipates that some or all of the prospective orders could be received before the end of 2026, which totals in the range of approximately $960,000 to $1.7 million.

“This customer began with handheld units to address a defined operational need. Performance at the first facility supported adoption at a second site,” said James Reynolds, President of ProEx Services and subject matter expert for SteraMist iHP in the Pharma Cleanroom industry. “The discussion has since advanced to additional whole-room systems and integrated automated systems. That progression indicates that the technology has met the customer’s requirements in its own environment and that the relationship now extends beyond the initial purchase.”

“Repeat purchases, a recurring BIT Solution agreement, and active interest in integrated systems from a global manufacturer of this standing are substantive evidence of our ongoing commercial progress,” said Elissa J. (E.J.) Shane, Chief Operating Officer of TOMI Environmental Solutions. “It is the sequence we see in life sciences and manufacturing: demonstrated performance at one site, expansion to another, and recurring BIT Solution revenue from each installation.”
