How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

constant currency financial
"revenues increased 5% compared to the prior year period"
Constant currency is a way of measuring financial results that removes the effects of changes in currency exchange rates. It allows for a clearer comparison of a company's performance over time by showing what the numbers would look like if exchange rates had stayed the same. This helps investors understand whether growth comes from actual business improvements or just currency fluctuations.
organic CC revenue growth financial
"Manpower organic CC revenue growth continued at a strong 7%"
EBITA financial
"EBITA is a non-GAAP financial measure"
EBITA stands for Earnings Before Interest, Taxes and Amortization and measures a company’s profit from operations after removing the effects of financing, tax rules and amortization charges. Investors use it to compare underlying business performance across firms by focusing on the company’s core ability to generate cash, like judging a car’s engine power before accounting for fuel costs, loan payments and bookkeeping adjustments.
Operating Unit Profit financial
"Operating Unit Profit (OUP) is the measure that we use to evaluate segment performance"
Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio financial
"a Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio of not less than 1.5 to 1"
A fixed charge coverage ratio measures how well a company's operating income can cover its fixed, recurring obligations like interest payments and lease costs. Think of it as a safety margin — the higher the number, the more comfortably a business can pay steady bills from its normal earnings, which matters to investors because it signals financial stability, lower default risk, and greater ability to withstand revenue dips.

Excluding these items, earnings per share was $1.01 per diluted share in the quarter representing an increase of 24% in constant currency in the third quarter of 2026.1

Financial results in the quarter were also impacted by the U.S. dollar relative to foreign currencies compared to the prior year period. On a constant currency basis, revenues increased 5% compared to the prior year period.

Jonas Prising, ManpowerGroup Chair & CEO, said, "We delivered another quarter of consistent performance and strong execution as momentum continues across the organization. Our Manpower brand continues to lead the way, with notable share gains in the U.S. Our Experis and Talent Solutions brands

1 The prior year period included various adjustments which reduced earnings per share by $0.45 in the third quarter, which are also excluded when determining the year over year adjusted trend.

experienced sequential revenue trend improvement which is encouraging. Our performance to date reinforces our confidence that 2026 is an inflection point for the business. At the same time, we continue to advance our transformation, expanding implementation beyond the U.S. and driving growth across our brands and regions while remaining on track to deliver on our cost savings target. Looking ahead, the combination of improving demand, strong execution, and continued progress on our transformation positions ManpowerGroup to drive sustainable, profitable growth."

We anticipate diluted earnings per share in the fourth quarter will be between $1.03 and $1.13 and a 44% effective tax rate."

Net earnings for the nine months ended September 30, 2026 were $90.1 million, or net earnings of $1.89 per diluted share compared to net losses of $43.5 million, or net losses of $0.93 per diluted share in the prior year, respectively. The current year-to-date period included restructuring costs, strategic transformation program costs, the sale of our Jefferson Wells U.S. business, a discontinued business liquidation charge, and Argentina hyperinflationary related non-cash currency translation losses which, in aggregate, reduced earnings per share by $0.62. Excluding the net impact of these charges, earnings per share for the nine-month period was $2.51 per diluted share representing an increase of 21% in constant currency.2 Revenues for the nine-month period were $14.2 billion, representing an increase of 7% compared to the prior year or 5% in constant currency.
