Key Terms

agentic ai technical
Agentic AI refers to computer systems that can make their own decisions and take actions without needing someone to tell them what to do each time. It's like giving a robot a degree of independence to solve problems or achieve goals on its own, which matters because it could change how we work and interact with technology in everyday life.
tradecraft technical
Tradecraft is the set of practical skills, methods and routines professionals use to do their jobs well—examples include how traders execute orders, how analysts research companies, or how managers prepare public disclosures. For investors, tradecraft matters because these habits determine the quality, timing and reliability of information and actions; like a craftsman’s technique shaping a final product, stronger tradecraft tends to produce steadier results and fewer unexpected problems.
threat intelligence technical
Threat intelligence is actionable information about cyber risks—who might attack, how they operate, and what systems or data are vulnerable—gathered from monitoring networks, software behavior, and public reports. For investors it matters because strong threat intelligence helps a company prevent disruptions, avoid costly breaches and fines, and protect reputation, much like a weather forecast and neighborhood watch help a community prepare for storms and deter crime.
cyberespionage technical
Covert use of computer networks and digital tools to steal confidential information from organizations or individuals—think of it as spying carried out through computers and the internet. Targets can include trade secrets, research data, customer records or strategic plans. For investors it matters because stolen information can lead to losses, legal penalties, operational disruption and damage to a company’s reputation, all of which can hurt revenue and stock value.

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) today announced the keynote and featured speaker lineup for its inaugural Day Zero Threat Research Summit. The summit will take place August 30 - September 1, 2026 at the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas as part of Fal.Con 2026, the premier cybersecurity event of the year.

Leading researchers from across the industry will deliver sessions spanning agentic AI weaponization, evolving China-nexus tradecraft and DPRK playbooks, the acceleration of vulnerability exploitation, and more.
