Freedom Financial Holdings Announces Earnings for Third Quarter of 2026 and Amendments to Bylaws
Lower quarterly expenses accompanied the earnings rebound, while nine-month profit remained below the prior-year period.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Freedom Financial Holdings (FDVA) reported third-quarter 2026 net income of $1,194,648, exceeding both the preceding quarter and the year-earlier period. Diluted earnings were $0.17, versus $0.04 in the second quarter and $0.16 a year earlier. Nine-month net income fell to $2,644,609 from $3,942,172.
Net interest income rose 4.45% year over year to $7.049 million, but total revenue declined 0.77%. Loans held for investment, excluding PPP loans, grew 3.05% during the quarter, while deposits increased 2.94%. Non-performing assets fell to 2.42% of assets from 2.57% in June, but remained above 1.65% a year earlier. Tangible book value declined to $11.80 per share from $12.20 in June.
Freedom completed its 250,000-share repurchase program after quarter-end and authorized another 150,000 shares. The board also adopted amended bylaws covering shareholder nominations, special-meeting requests and exclusive dispute forums.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.
