4 terms
software-as-a-service ("SaaS") technical
"transition from legacy hardware operations to software-as-a-service ("SaaS") solutions"
A software-as-a-service (SaaS) product is a program delivered over the internet that customers access by subscription instead of installing and running it on their own computers. For investors, SaaS matters because it creates recurring revenue, predictable cash flow and often higher customer retention—similar to a gym membership model—making it easier to forecast growth, value long-term customer relationships and assess profitability over time.
multi-channel network ("MCN") technical
"corresponding to SaaS – multi-channel network ("MCN") digital service fees"
A multi-channel network (MCN) is a company that signs up online video creators and handles business tasks like advertising sales, audience growth, content rights and back-office support, acting like an agent and service hub for many channels at once. For investors it matters because an MCN bundles creator audiences into a single revenue stream and cost structure—similar to a talent agency pooling stars—so its growth, platform dependence and contract terms directly affect potential ad income and scalability.
digital authentication services technical
"customized software R&D services and digital authentication services"
Digital authentication services verify that people, devices, or documents are genuine when interacting online, using methods like passwords, biometrics, one-time codes, or encrypted keys. They matter to investors because they reduce fraud, enable secure customer onboarding and online transactions, and help companies meet regulatory requirements—similar to a trusted doorman or notary for the digital world that protects revenue and reputation.
Internet of Things (IoT) technical
"opportunities in AI, hardware, and the Internet of Things (IoT)"
The internet of things (IoT) describes a network of everyday objects—such as appliances, vehicles, and devices—that are connected to the internet and can share data automatically. This connectivity enables these objects to function more efficiently and provides valuable insights for businesses and consumers alike. For investors, IoT represents a growing area of technological innovation with the potential to transform industries and create new market opportunities.
