Key Terms

4 terms
aec-q200 technical
"AEC-Q200 qualified NTC thermistor solutions"
AEC‑Q200 is an industry standard that defines stress tests and reliability requirements for passive electronic components (such as resistors, capacitors and inductors) used in vehicles. For investors, an AEC‑Q200 qualification signals that parts are designed and tested to survive harsh automotive conditions—like temperature swings, vibration and humidity—making products more likely to win automotive contracts and reduce warranty or field‑failure risk.
mosfet technical
"Gen 5 TrenchFET® MOSFET technology"
A MOSFET is a tiny electronic switch used to control the flow of electricity in chips and circuits, functioning like a faucet that turns current on or off and adjusts how much passes through. Investors watch MOSFETs because their performance, cost and availability affect product power efficiency, manufacturing yields and supply chains for industries from consumer electronics to electric vehicles, which in turn can influence companies’ margins and growth prospects.
sic technical
"Gen 3 MaxSiC silicon carbide (SiC) trench MOSFETs"
Sic is a short notation placed immediately after a quoted word or passage to show the text is reproduced exactly as it appeared in the original source, even if it contains a typo, odd phrasing, or factual error. For investors, it signals that any mistake or unusual wording came from the original speaker or document, not from the publisher—like an editor saying “this is how it was said,” which helps with accuracy, responsibility, and legal clarity.
optocoupler technical
"wide body phototransistor optocoupler with 11 mm creepage"
An optocoupler is a small electronic component that transmits a signal between two separate circuits using light, so the circuits are electrically isolated from each other. For investors, it matters because this isolation improves safety and reliability in products like power supplies, industrial controllers, and medical devices; demand and pricing for optocouplers can affect manufacturers’ costs, product certifications, and exposure to supply-chain or regulatory risks.
