spudded technical
"the K-29 well, which was spudded on July 25, 2026, has reached"
Spudded means drilling has officially begun on an oil or natural gas well. It signals the start of physical work at a well site, similar to when construction crews break ground on a building; the drill bit has been put into the ground and the operation is underway. For investors, spudding marks a key milestone that moves a project from planning into execution and can trigger progress updates, timelines, costs and potential future production results.
perforation intervals technical
"IEC has submitted proposed perforation intervals to Pertamina"
Perforation intervals are specific sections along the depth of an oil or gas well where operators create holes through the well casing and cement to connect the reservoir rock with the wellbore so fluids can flow into or out of the well. They matter to investors because which intervals are perforated — and how extensive or productive those zones are — directly affects a well’s expected production, recovery efficiency and the timing and size of revenue from a well; think of it like choosing where to poke holes in a submerged straw to let liquid in from the best spots.
forward-looking statements regulatory
"contain certain ‘forward-looking statements’ made pursuant to the safe harbor"
Forward-looking statements are predictions or plans that companies share about what they expect to happen in the future, like estimating sales or profits. They matter because they help investors understand a company's outlook, but since they are based on guesses and assumptions, they can sometimes be wrong.
Kruh Block technical
"Both K-29 and WK-5 are located within IEC’s approximately 63,000-acre Kruh Block"
