Ryder Ranks Among Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation
- Women in Trucking honors Ryder for its commitment to employ and advance women in transportation and logistics
- Earns top spot among the “Elite 30” for the third year running, recognized as one of the transportation industry’s most admired workplaces for women building long-term, successful careers
- Celebrates Ryder’s employee development and culture of empowering women across transportation careers

For the seventh consecutive year, Women In Trucking recognizes Ryder for its commitment to the employment and advancement of women in the transportation industry.
“At Ryder, we’re not just building careers, we’re building confident, capable leaders,” says Lesley Kerr, vice president of human resources at Ryder and WIT board member. “Our employee forums are a great example of how we do this by fostering an inclusive culture where employees feel connected and supported with meaningful opportunities to engage. It is about giving talented employees the tools and support to lead, shape strategy, and drive the future of transportation.”
WIT’s Top Company designation was based on a review of criteria that included, among others:
- A workplace culture rooted in career advancement and leadership opportunities
- Competitive pay and benefits programs
- Flexible work options supporting work-life balance
- Leadership training, mentorship, and career advancement initiatives
More than 21,000 industry professionals – from executives to professional drivers – participated in the voting process, reaffirming Ryder’s continued leadership as an employer of choice for women in transportation.
“Ryder has been recognized as a 2025 Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association,” says Brian Everett, WIT group publisher and editorial director. “This organization has earned this prestigious recognition through a rigorous nomination and review process, along with industry-wide voting that validates the nomination. We are pleased to bestow this well-earned recognition to Ryder.”
“Ryder is a standout example of how companies can empower rising leaders,” says Korri Adams, director of used vehicle sales at Ryder and WIT Foundation board member. “Our efforts provide employees with opportunities to envision and identify career paths within the organization and across the transportation industry.”
This latest honor builds on Ryder’s growing list of recognitions. In 2024, Newsweek named Ryder one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women,” and earlier this year, WIT honored two Ryder leaders on its ‘Top Women to Watch in Transportation’ list for their leadership impact and industry contributions.
