annualized dividend financial
"bringing the annualized dividend to $5.84 per share"
Annualized dividend is the amount of dividend income a shareholder would receive over a full year, calculated from the most recent dividend payment pattern (for example, multiplying a quarterly payment by four or summing declared payments over 12 months). It matters to investors because it converts periodic payouts into a common yearly figure for comparing income potential and estimating cash return per share—like turning monthly rent into an annual rent figure to judge which property pays more.
shareholders of record financial
"to shareholders of record on November 13, 2026"
Shareholders of record are the people officially listed as owners of a company's stock on a specific date. This matters because only these shareholders are entitled to receive dividends or vote at company meetings. It's like being on the official guest list for a party—you get to enjoy the perks and have a say.
take private proposal financial
"unsolicited, preliminary and non-binding take private proposal"
A take private proposal is an offer by a buyer or group to buy all outstanding shares of a publicly traded company and remove it from stock exchanges, turning it into a privately held firm. For investors it matters because the offer sets a buyout price, can end public trading of the shares, and often triggers votes, regulatory reviews, and potential premiums or discounts compared with market value — like a homeowner receiving a buyout offer that would end public listing.
