Top 100 Stocks by EBITDA

What EBITDA Means for US-listed Companies
EBITDA stands for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. It strips out financing decisions and accounting allocations to expose the cash a business generates from core operations. Across US-listed firms the figure is widely used to compare operating performance on a common footing, especially when capital structures differ, because it removes the noise of how a company is funded and how its past capital spending gets allocated over time.
Why EBITDA Matters Less Than It Seems
EBITDA is useful for cross-company comparison, yet it is not cash flow. Depreciation reflects real capital that was spent and will likely be spent again to keep the business running. Interest is a real claim on cash for any levered firm, and taxes are real obligations. EBITDA can flatter capital-intensive businesses whose reinvestment needs are genuine. It works best as a starting gauge of operating profitability alongside cash flow and leverage data.
What to Read Alongside
Pair EBITDA with [Free Cash Flow](/financials/top-free-cash-flow-stocks/) to confirm operating earnings convert into cash after real reinvestment, [Net Income](/financials/top-net-income-stocks/) for the after-everything view that captures interest and taxes, and [Debt](/financials/most-indebted-stocks/) to frame how leverage weighs on those earnings.

How this ranking is built
Companies are ranked by ebitda as reported in their most recent annual filing with the SEC. Figures shown are in US dollars (or percent, as noted), rounded to two decimals.
- Source: annual 10-K / 20-F filings from companies trading on US exchanges (NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX).
- Fiscal year: whichever annual period the company has most recently filed. Fiscal years don't always align with the calendar year, so the "as of FY" stamp above reflects the most common year across the table.
- Filtered out: warrants, preferred shares, and duplicate listings that share a parent company's financials.
- Update cadence: refreshed as companies file new annual reports (typically within 60–90 days of fiscal year end).
